All EOF Admitted First Year Scholars must complete EOF Confirmation with the Office of Financial Aid by June 1st to receive the EOF grant & program services.

Summer Institute Location: Virtual week July 6th -July 10th and In-Person Residential component is Sunday, July 12th-Friday, July 31st in Hardenbergh Hall which is one of three river dorms located on the College Ave campus.

Please visit our Summer Institute Packet tab located under the Summer Institute tab on our website. There are forms there that all students must complete and additional forms for minors only. All forms are due by June 1. Follow up with your assigned EOF counselor with any questions.

SAS EOF will reach out to you thru multiple platforms: Text, email, and by phone. Make sure you keep in touch! Ensure that the email you provided is one you check daily.
- Take the Placement Test as soon as possible. Note that you will need to download a lockdown browser in order to take the math placement test. A chrome book will not work! If you don't have access to a laptop to take your placement test, you may reserve space on campus to do so. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - NSO (New Student Orientation) for SAS EOF will be Monday, 6/29 – Tuesday, 6/30 with Fall class registration taking place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. (This is the only date students can attend NSO. Registration for NSO begins April 1, 2026)
- Summer Institute Requirement—Get a Laptop with video capabilities, Webex/Zoom account and internet (broadband is important)!

- WHAT TO BRING ON MOVE IN DAY:
- Your Laptop (Must be a PC or Mac, No Chromebooks)
- Breakfast Items (we provide lunch and dinner, but breakfast is on your own)
- A floor lamp and light bulb (we recommend this lamp)
- Pillows & bed ensemble (blanket, long twin-size fitted sheet, etc.)
- Clothes hangers
- Hamper/detergent
- Towels
- Alarm Clock
- Bathroom Essentials (Bathrobe, shower slippers, soap, toothpaste, etc.)
- Shower caddy (to carry toiletries to and from bathroom)
- Fan
- Sunblock
- Medications (Make sure to inform health services)
- Health insurance Card (original or copy in case of emergency)
