You must complete our transfer and no history application using the following link prior to your interview.

- If you received the EOF grant at your prior institution, request that your prior NJ EOF program complete the EOF Transfer Form. The form should then be uploaded to the Rutgers University Office of Undergraduate Admissions at your Rutgers Application Portal and emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please make sure that your previous school has removed your name from its EOF state roster.
- If you did not receive the EOF grant at your prior institution, an EOF Transfer Form is not required.
- Login using your Community ID (email and password) to continue your application or view your admission status.
- Final confirmation of EOF Eligibility for transfer students with no prior EOF history requires completing the EOF Verification Process through the Office of Financial Aid. This process is initiated by the SAS EOF office after the interview or information session. Submit all documents requested in your financial aid account immediately and monitor your account regularly! Your HESAA account must also be clear showing no outstanding documents. Monitor this account regularly also!

- This is time sensitive! The EOF State Office has very strict deadlines regarding the awarding of EOF grants. Please be sure to complete the process as soon as possible.
- Transfer students with prior EOF will be reviewed internally. Please read your Rutgers email regularly for any requests from SAS EOF during the internal verification process.
- All transfer applicants, with or without prior EOF history, are required to attend an individual or group interview session before an eligibility decision can be made.
- All eligible applicants must attend the SAS EOF Transfer Student Workshop held just prior to the start of the Spring term.
- The Spring 2026 application process for SAS EOF consideration will close at midnight on January 31, 2026.
