What is this program?
The Rutgers Alumni Association and the School of Arts and Sciences Educational Opportunity Fund are partnering to help undergraduate students who may not have the available funds for graduations robes be able to walk proudly with their class. Robes will be collected from alumni donations, cleaned, and lent out to students for their ceremony and other graduation experiences.
How can I help? What robes are accepted?
If your undergraduate graduation robe is in good condition (no holes, stains, or rips), please consider donating it to help the next generation of Rutgers alumni! We also invite you to share a note with the student who will receive your robe, with your wishes for their future and what graduating meant for you, alongside a picture from your own graduation!
We are currently prioritizing the collection of gowns from the following schools listed below. If you own a graduation gown for a program not listed below and would like to donate it, please contact your associated program's alumni association or dean for assistance.
