Ryan Csordas is a proud first-generation, non-traditional two-time graduate of Rutgers University. He attained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the School of Management and Labor Relations, where he majored in Labor Studies and Employment Relations and graduated with honors. He has worked for EOF Programs since 2018. Mr. Csordas joined the SAS EOF leadership team after having served as an EOF Counselor at Monmouth University where he provided holistic academic, career, financial aid and personal life advice to students. He helped increase access, opportunity and enrollment of first-generation, low-income and historically underrepresented groups while serving on an admissions and recruitment committee where he led outreach, marketing, recruitment, and enrollment efforts for the EOF Program. He has experience planning, developing and presenting programs, workshops and events including the Summer Academy (a five-week long intensive residential summer bridge program for incoming first year students) as well as a week-long training program for the Residence Life staff members (consisting of a staff of 7 Peer Counselors) who he also supervised during the Summer Academy. He previously served as an Administrative Assistant for the SAS EOF Program and the Academic Foundations Center’s EOF Program at Rutgers University – Newark.

Mr. Csordas is passionate about helping students access and persist through college and helping students and their families understand how they can afford and finance their education. In his spare time, Mr. Csordas loves spending quality time at home with his wife, Maxine, daughter, Kaya, chihuahua, Coco, two cats; Grazie and Midnight and his spectacled amazon parrot, Yippy, as well as with other family and friends. He can usually be found around the Bayshore or working on his 1920s bungalow in Keansburg.
