Ms. Jubilee is a two-time graduate from the Rutgers Business School and the Graduate School of Education. Prior to Rutgers, Ms. Jubilee worked as a Branch Manager and as the Manager of Corporate Services at INROADS/Central New Jersey Inc. She transitioned from the corporate sector and began her Rutgers career at University College until it merged in 2007 to become part of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS). She has served the transfer and non-traditional EOF population for 20 years and continues to advise EOF transfers and most recently, Mason Gross students.
Ms. Jubilee provides direct supervision over the EOF Senior Counselors on the College Ave campus and together they serve first generation students from low-income, disadvantaged backgrounds. She has extensive experience providing advising and counseling services on all academic and student affairs for traditional, non-traditional, transfer, & part-time college students, high school seniors, and other special populations. She cultivates an environment that brings awareness of the needs of this population; advocates, ensuring equality and equity in access to university resources that will help them persist to and through graduation; and exposes them to rewarding opportunities and discoveries that can lead them to economic stability. Ms. Jubilee also directs and oversees the EOF First Year Experience (FYE) and RU-1st Seminar courses geared to help first generation, low-income students make a successful transition from high school to college. She takes a holistic approach to providing advising and counseling services that promote inclusion, retention, graduation, and post-graduation success.
Ms. Jubilee has a solid foundation in supervision, student development, advising, counseling, and training and development. She participates in the First-year Retention Program, Academic Standing advising, and Academic Planning and Advising (APA) days. She has demonstrated experience in program/project management, namely, regional training conference for over 600 seniors, corporate round-tables, corporate mentoring programs, INROADS Talent Pool for 250+ students, the EOF Summer Institute, and coordinated awards banquet for 600+ students, staff, and corporate guests.
She is a coadjutant professor for the Career Explorations and Academic Success Seminar courses and has co-presented at the New Jersey EOF Professional Association Conference and the Tri-State Consortium of Opportunity Programs Conference. She is a proud Rutgers’ Alumna and has a passion and talent for fashion, design, and interior decorating.
