Ms. Herrera is a two time graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Linguistics and Sociology from Douglass College and a Master’s in Social Work from the School of Social Work. She is a pipeline alumna of the Rutgers Upward Bound Program, Educational Opportunity Fund Program, Student Support Services and The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program. She has served various roles within The Rutgers University Educational Opportunity Fund Program. She has been a part of the Rutgers University SAS EOF Summer Residence Life Team, served as a liaison for the Educational Opportunity Program Student Association (EOPSA) and co-liaison for Chi Alpha Epsilon (XAE) honor society, assisted with recruitment efforts, Academic Services Planning and Advising (APA) days as well as university wide student retention efforts through the first year retention team. She is passionate about helping students accomplish their career goals.
