Mr. Simpson joins the SAS EOF Counseling team with prior experience working with Residence Life, Housing, Student Leadership, Financial Aid, and academic advising at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham, NJ. He was an Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) student at Drew University where he received his bachelor’s degree in History and Pan-African Studies. While at Drew, Mr. Simpson worked for the EOF program as Head Counselor during their summer bridge programs, and after graduating from Drew University, Mr. Simpson earned his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Rider University.

Mr. Simpson prides himself on being an advocate for college students and guiding them through their undergraduate experience.  He is extremely excited to serve the Rutgers SAS community in his new role as Senior Counselor on the College Avenue Campus.  In his free time, Mr. Simpson enjoys watching movies and spending time with family and friends. His office can be found in Milledoler Hall, Room 011A, and his email address is This email address is being protected from spambots.
