Clifford D. Frazier, III, begin his career at Rutgers University New Brunswick in July 2014 in Student Affairs with the department of Residence Life where he served as a Residence Life Coordinator. During his time he was responsible for the day-to-day operations, activities and services for students living in residence halls on campus. Mr. Frazier supervised undergraduate and graduate staff while developing a team which implemented all of the activities, programs and services needed to create inclusive communities that reflect the mission and goals of Residence Life. He developed high quality services, respond effectively and efficiently to problem situations, and worked with staff to meet the facility needs of all students. Mr. Frazier advised and developed hall governments and other leadership efforts to empower and develop student leaders. He worked in conjunction with the department to support the campus identity and the daily operations of the campus, through a commitment to the objectives of the department and university.
Mr. Frazier graduated with a Bachelor's degree in African American Studies, a Minor in Music Education, a Masters in Counseling and Student Services and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential all from California State University, Fresno. He is the recipient of the Kremen School of Education and Human Development Graduate Dean’s Medalist from Fresno State. Mr. Frazier has experience with supervision, counseling, programming, academic advising, crisis response and student support. With special emphasis on inclusiveness, diversity, counseling, training and development; whether first year, returning, graduate or international students – keeping students at the focal point has always been his priority in order to sustain student success while creating future career advancements in all areas of one’s life. Mr. Frazier is beyond thankful for his role in higher education and is blessed to have an opportunity to provide a certain level of influence in the work that he does. Furthermore, Mr. Frazier is excited for his role as a Senior EOF Counselor as he was a part of the Educational Opportunity Program during his undergraduate experience at Fresno State.
