As an EOF alumna, Ms. Torres earned her BA in Psychology at Montclair State University where she was an active member in Housing and Residence life as well as several student organizations. She then pursued her MA in Psychology at Marshall University in West Virginia where she worked as a Graduate Resident Hall Director. Ms. Torres brought diversity awareness to the Marshall campus by establishing organizations and integrating programs on campus earning her the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Living the Legacy award as well as the Marshall University Woman of Color award. Upon returning to New Jersey, she became an EOF counselor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. In this role, Ms. Torres created programs that aimed to increase student engagement and awareness and worked with admissions to recruit incoming EOF first year students. As the newest member of the SAS EOF Counseling team, she looks forward to continuing her work within EOF at Rutgers University.
